Immigration Rates

Our firm does not charge VAT on our costs as we are not VAT registered at present

Our fees for making an immigration/entry clearance/EEA/Nationality application will include the following: – (For each individual application please refer to our Immigration page)

  • Discussing your circumstances in detail and confirming whether this is the most appropriate application for you to make and what other options may be available to you
  • Giving you advice about the requirements of the Immigration Rules and whether you meet the criteria
  • If you do not fulfil certain criteria, whether this can be overcome and how, this on average takes 1 hour.
  • Considering the supporting evidence, you have provided, which we anticipate will take 1 to 2 hours
  • Where necessary, helping you obtain further evidence (such as medical records and bank statements), including taking statements from any relevant witnesses
  • Preparing your application and submitting it on your behalf, which we anticipate will take 3 to 5 hours.
  • booking an appointment at the visa centre abroad or the application centre in the UK
  • Attendance at a Home Office interview: if the Home Office ask you to attend an interview, we will give you clear advice (and discuss the possibility of us attending with you) at the appropriate time. This could be between 6 and 8 hours of work
  • Giving you advice about the outcome of the application and any further steps you need to take

The costs quoted here do not include:

  • Any Home Office fees for making the application. You will pay this to the Home Office directly as part of the application process.
  • Where the Home Office refuse your application, advice and assistance in relation to any appeal
  • Disbursements which are costs related to your matter that are payable to third parties, such as visa fees, Immigration health surcharge, interpreters, translation of documents, DNA reports, the cost of instructing an Immigration Barrister to represent you at appeal or Judicial Review hearing or for advice in connection with Appeals on Applications for Judicial Review, court fees and the cost to retrieve title deeds to property. We handle the payment of the disbursements on your behalf to ensure a smoother process. (please refer to the disbursement section below for more detail)

Typically an immigration/entry clearance/EEA/Nationality application will take between 3 to 12 hours at an hourly rate from £177.00 to £201.00, equating to professional fees of £500.00 to £2,500. There is no VAT to pay on our costs.

The exact number of hours will depend on the circumstances of your case such as:

  • The amount of supporting evidence that we need to consider
  • Which language(s) you speak
  • Whether you are applying for other dependents
  • The complexities of the case
  • Your immigration history, whether there has been previous immigration applications which have been refused

All applications are likely to vary in complexity as some cases may be straightforward and some may not be and of course, we can give you a more accurate estimate once we have more information about your specific case.

It will be helpful if, at our first meeting, you are able to provide any evidence needed to meet the applicable Immigration Rules. This will help us speed up the process and assist us in keeping costs to the lower end of the range.

We are transparent about our fees, and will give our best estimate at the outset, so that you can remain in control of the funding.
